Instructions
Prep:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Cut a 12 x 8 inch sheet of heavy-duty foil and fold up all 4 sides of the foil to make a container shape. Place on a rimmed baking sheet.
Pound chicken breast to even thickness, about 1- 1½” and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Cook:
Heat oil a nonstick skillet over high and cook chicken about 30 seconds each side until browned.
In a small bowl stir together melted butter, maple syrup, dijon mustard and garlic.
Pour ⅓ the sauce in the foil container, place chicken on, and move around to coat bottom.
Pour ⅓ sauce over chicken and spread evenly. Reserve ⅓ sauce.
Arrange asparagus in a single layer on the baking sheet, beside the foil bowl.
Spread remaining melted butter and garlic over asparagus, sprinkle on salt and pepper, and use hands or tongs to mix well.
Bake for about 20 minutes until chicken is cooked through and asparagus is crisp-tender.
