A thick and indulgent Chocolate Oatmeal Protein Smoothie made creamy with rolled oats and no banana! This chocolate oat protein shake is perfect for hearty and filling breakfast, post workout, or even weight loss.
Ingredients
1scoopChocolate Protein Powder, about 30g, ⅓ cup
½cupInstant/Quick Oats, 45g, or Rolled
1TbspUnsweetened Cocoa Powder, or Cacao Powder
1cupUnsweetened Almond Milk
½tspVanilla Extract, Optional
¾cupIce Cubes, about 6
Instructions
Combine all the ingredients - chocolate protein powder, oats, cocoa or cacao powder, milk, vanilla and ice - in blender and blend on high for about 30-45 seconds until desired consistency is obtained.
Add ice to make it thicker, or a splash of almond milk to make it thinner.
