Low fat and sugar free, these Low Calorie Protein Brownies are the best you will every have! With protein powder and Greek yogurt, these protein chocolate brownies have no oil, no butter, no sugar and no eggs either! Gluten free and Vegan options too!
Ingredients
½cupChocolate Protein Powder, 45g, about 1½ scoops
½cupUnsweetened Cocoa Powder, or Cacao Powder, 40g
⅓cup1:1 Gluten Free Baking Flour, 50g, see post for subs
¼cupZero Calorie 1:1 Sugar Replacement, 48g
½tspBaking Soda
1cupNon-fat Greek Yogurt, 225g
½cupUnsweetened Almond Milk, 120ml
3TbspSugar-free Chocolate Nut Butter Spread, 42g, see post for subs
2TbspChopped Chocolate or Chocolate Chips, 28g, Sugar-free recommended below
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8” x 8” brownie pan or baking dish with parchment paper.
In a bowl, whisk chocolate protein powder, unsweetened cocoa powder, gluten free flour, zero calorie sugar replacement and baking soda.
In a large bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt and almond milk.
Add dry mix to wet, and gently fold until combined.DO NOT OVER-MIX or protein powder will make the brownie dense.
Add in chocolate nut butter spread and chocolate chips (reserving few for the top) and fold.Batter should be thick.
Transfer batter into pan, smoothen with a spatula or back of spoon and top with remaining chocolate chips.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is set. Toothpick inserted into the center should come out mostly dry.
Remove from oven and let cool completely.Cut into slices and enjoy!
