Very amazing and anabolic Protein French French Toast Sticks perfect for a high protein breakfast or post workout. With protein powder, egg whites and a hint of cinnamon, this anabolic french toast recipe might be better than your normal!
Ingredients
2slicesWhole Wheat Bread, 56g
2TbspVanilla Protein Powder, about 11g
¼cupAlmond Milk, or other
1Egg White
¼tspCinnamon
Olive Oil Spray for greasing
Instructions
Use a pizza cutter or serrated knife to cut each slice of bread into 3 sections.
In a large shallow bowl or container whisk together almond milk, egg white, vanilla protein powder and cinnamon.
Place bread in mixture and let soak for about 3-4 minutes. Flip, and soak other side for another 3-4 minutes.
Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-low and spray with cooking spray.
Place soaked bread on pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, flip, and cook other side for another 2 minutes.Cook in batches if using a small skillet.
Serve with choice of toppings.
