A rich and luxurious Air Fryer Chocolate Lava Cake with that gooey molten chocolate center! This healthy air fryer lava cake is made with cocoa powder and protein powder, and is a great dessert for one.
Ingredients
2½Tbsp1:1 Gluten Free Baking Flour, 17g, see post for subs
3TbspChocolate Protein Powder, 17g
2TbspUnsweetened Cocoa Powder, 10g
¼tspBaking Powder
¼cupUnsweetened Almond Milk, 60ml
1½Liquid Egg White, 45g, 3 Tbsp
1TbspGreek Yogurt, 14g
¼tspVanilla Extract
2tspChopped Chocolate or Chocolate Chips, 10g, Sugar free recommended below
Instructions
Lightly grease a 1 cup ramekin.
In a bowl, whisk flour, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder and baking powder.
In another bowl, whisk almond milk, egg white, yogurt and vanilla.
Add wet mix to try and stir until combined. Batter should be smooth.Taste batter and add sweetener if needed.
Pour half batter into ramekin, add chocolate, and pour remaining batter.
Place in air fryer basket and cook 14-15 minutes at 300°F.
Let cool for a few minutes and enjoy!
Notes
Taste the batter and see if you need some extra sweetener; I’d recommend stevia if needed.
