This Fat-Free Garlic & Mushroom Hummus has half the calories of regular hummus for the same quantity. Now you can indulge in an entire bowl and have no regrets!
Ingredients
1cupChickpeas, Canned (260g) or Cooked from dry (74g)
2cupsMushrooms, Chopped, 140g
2tspGarlic, Minced, 2 cloves, 10g
½tspCumin
1TbspLemon Juice
1TbspUnsweetened Almond Milk, or extra water
3TbspWater
Instructions
Cook mushrooms with ¼ cup water in a small pot over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes. Let them cool.
Blend the chickpeas, garlic, cumin and liquids in a food processor.
Add cooked mushrooms and pulse until smooth and creamy.
