Salmon is amazing, and so is avocado, so put them together you get something twice as amazing! A tender, soft and flaky fillet packed with flavors from a spice blend and topped with a soothing avo salsa. A beauty in looks and taste!
Ingredients
Salmon:
2 2½ozSalmon Fillet, 71g each
2tspOlive Oil
½tspGarlic, Minced, 1 clove
¼tspOnion Powder
¼tspPaprika
¼tspCumin
¼tspChili Powder
¼tspCrushed Red Pepper Flakes
¼tspSalt
⅛tspPepper
Avocado Salsa:
1smallAvocado, ⅔ cup cubed, 100g
1tspLemon Juice
2TbspRed Onion, Chopped, 20g
2TbspTomatoes, Diced, 25g
1TbspCilantro
⅛tspeach Salt & Pepper
Instructions
Combine olive oil and seasonings in a small bowl and coat salmon fillets with the marinade. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Cube the avocado and combine in a small bowl with remaining ingredients. Cover with plastic wrap and chill until ready to serve.
Heat a skillet over medium and add the salmon.
Cook on one side for 4-5 mins, flip and cook other side for another 3 mins.
Top salmon with avocado salsa and serve immediately!
