Ingredients

Roma Tomatoes

Instructions
Chop the tomatoes into large chunks and puree in a food processor until a paste forms.
Transfer to a small pot on medium heat, and bring to a boil.
Cover with a lid, bring the heat to low and simmer.
When the tomatoes start to thicken, add the spices, sweetener and vinegar and mix until uniform.
Simmer for about 10 minutes until thick (stop sooner or later depending on how thin you want it).
Taste and add extra cayenne pepper or sweetener if you want it spicier or sweeter.
Let it cool down and pulse it in a food processor for about 1 minute until smooth.
Use it anywhere you’d use barbecue sauce, or even with fries as ketchup!
