Sugar cravings is exactly why I went for this keto cookies and cream fudge recipe; I’ve starting having that sweet craving again at night after dinner, but really want to keep it low carb and keto friendly too.

Also used the opportunity to try out a new recipe with those hella expensive Keto friendly sandwich cookies from Catalina Crunch.

This protein fudge is the best cookies and cream protein powder recipe I’ve made so far because that flavor was totally spot on!

What you need for Cookies and Cream Protein Fudge

This high protein cookies and cream fudge is made with a few simple and healthy ingredients; It’s the perfect Oreo fudge without white chocolate and without condensed milk.

Here’s what it takes:

  • Cashew Butter
  • Vanilla Protein Powder – for high protein fudge recipe, and also replace the sweetener.
I recommend ProteinWorld Vanilla for this recipe to keep it sugar free; Use the code HAYLSKITCHEN for a discount.
Another option is Quest Vanilla or even better the Quest cookies and cream protein powder for an Oreo fudge.
  • Unflavored Collagen Peptides for extra high protein fudge. I use the one from Further Foods (HAYLSKITCHEN gives you a discount)
  • Coconut Flour
  • Sugar-free Oreo Sandwich Cookies – I used the Keto friendly Chocolate Vanilla Sandwich Cookies from Catalina Crunch

Vegan Cookie Butter Fudge!

This is a cookies and cream fudge recipe without white chocolate, and can easily turned into a Vegan protein fudge by using a compliant protein powder. ProteinWorld has a Vegan protein blend as well.

Make sure you also use a dairy free and Vegan Oreo sandwich cookies recipe for this fudge.

How do you make Cookies and Cream Fudge with Protein Powder?

With this easy list of ingredients, making homemade Oreo protein fudge really couldn’t get easier; Just mix and set!

Combine the Cashew Butter, coconut flour, unflavored collagen powder and vanilla protein powder in a bowl.

Chop up the Oreo Chocolate Vanilla Sandwich cookies

Add the Oreo to the cookies and cream protein fudge mixture and mix.

Transfer it into a parchment lined loaf pan – I use an 8 x 4” – and spread and smoothen the top with the back of a spoon.

Place the pan in the freezer for 15 minutes to freeze.

Cut into about 16 pieces.

How to store High Protein Cookies and Cream Fudge

Since this Protein Cookies and Cream fudge is made without white chocolate, it will get soft at room temperature and needs to be store in the fridge or freezer.

Store Oreo Cookie fudge in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 7 days.

To freeze protein powder Oreo fudge recipe, place sliced fudge bars in a zipper bag with pieces of parchment paper in between and keep in the freezer for 2-3 months. You can also use a freezer safe airtight container here.

Be sure to let the frozen cookie and cream fudge soften for a few hours in the fridge or at room temperature so it’s not too hard to bite into.

Tips for the perfect Cookies and Cream Fudge without Chocolate

  • Make sure you use room temperature runny cashew butter since a hard one out of the fridge won’t combine well.
  • Let the fudge harden before slicing since it will be fairly difficult to do this at room temperature.

Alternate Ingredients for Healthy Oreo Fudge

  • Cashew Butter: Use any other neutral nut or seed butter like sunflower seed butter, macadamia nut butter, or even a blend. Plain, unroasted almond butter might be good too. I would not recommend peanut butter because of the strong flavor.
  • Coconut Flour: Try 3x the amount of almond flour; I haven’t made this myself though so I’m not sure how it will work.
  • Collagen Powder: Some more of the coconut flour or almond flour.
