Ingredients
Chocolate Base:
- Whey Chocolate Protein Powder – Adds rich chocolate flavor and also serves as the sweetener. Make sure you use a good one here.
I recommend Dymatize Whey or Quest Whey-Casein. - Whole Wheat Pastry Flour (or AP Flour)
- Cocoa Powder – to deepen the chocolate flavor!
- Baking Powder – Helps the base rise and stay light.
- Unsweetened Almond Milk – Low-calorie moisture without dairy or sugar.
- Egg White – Binds the ingredients while keeping fat content low.
- Vanilla Extract – Adds a warmth and coziness to balance the cocoa.
Protein Cream Layer:
- Reduced-Fat Cream Cheese – Smooth, tangy, and lighter than regular cream cheese or mascarpone.
- Non-Fat Greek Yogurt – High-protein and also subs out some of the cream cheese here.
- Vanilla Protein Powder – Serves as a sweetener.
I recommend Dymatize Whey or Quest Nutrition.
