I actually walked 20 minutes to a store just to buy peaches for a new recipe after how much I loved the high protein peach cobbler I made last week.

The laziness kicked in later though, and I wanted a quick, mini, single serving peach dessert, and this microwave recipe did not disappoint!

Ingredients for Healthy Single Serve Peach Crisp

This healthy single serve high protein peach crisp is made with clean and simple ingredients for a healthy and low calorie recipe.

The Sugar Free Peach Crisp Filling

  • Fresh Sliced Peaches or thawed from frozen
  • Vanilla Protein Powder to sweeten the filling without sugar; I used Quest Nutrition
  • A bit of Cinnamon
  • Some Lemon Juice

The High Protein Peach Crisp Topping

  • Granola: I used ProteinWorld new Slender Granola in the honey crunch flavor; The code HAYLSKITCHEN gets you a discount here too.

Tips for the perfect Microwave Peach Crisp with Granola and Protein Powder

This no sugar microwave peach crisp for one is made with protein powder in the peach filling and uses a protein granola for the topping, and is quite an easy recipe. Here’s some pointers to get it perfect though!

  • Use fully ripe peaches or canned peaches
Since this is a single service microwave peach crisp recipe, there’s no long baking time to let the juices fully sweeten the fruit.
  • Coat peaches completely in protein powder-cinnamon mixture; Use hands if needed to coat both sides.
  • Microwave until peach juices come out; This might take up to 2 minutes depending on your microwave.

To make Individual Peach Crisp with Frozen Peaches

This single serve microwave peach crisp can be made with fresh of frozen sliced peach; If using frozen, use ¾ – 1 cup slices, let thaw to room temperature (or defrost in the microwave), pat dry, and follow the recipe as is.

Or a Mini Peach Crisp with Canned Peaches?

Feel free to use ¾ – 1 cup slices of canned peaches in this single serving protein peach crisp. It’ll turn out just perfect. I would recommend reducing the microwave time to about 1½ mins though.

Alternatives for Healthy Single Serving Peach Crisp

This single serving healthy peach crisp works perfectly the ingredients I used, but here’s some other healthy options you could try as well:

  • Vanilla Protein Powder: Needed for a high protein peach crisp.
Alternatively, Lakanto 1:1 Zero Calorie Monkfruit sweetener to keep it sugar free. (code HAYLSKITCHEN gets you a discount).
  • Granola: Crushed Graham Crackers, Vanilla wafers or even Biscoff biscuits!

To make Vegan Mini Peach Crisp for One

Use a plant based protein powder to make a perfect Vegan single serve protein peach crisp.

ProteinWorld has a Vegan protein blend as well (HAYLSKITCHEN for the discount here too) which would be great for this individual peach crisp.

Absolutely! The peaches really do work wonders in this crisp! So happy – and relieved – that grocery run was worth it.
