Maple White Chocolate Protein Balls are delightful, indulgent and good-for-you at the same time! With sugar-free white chocolate and maple syrup, protein powder and maple-flavored cashew butter, these bites will have you swooning!

These little bites are a delicious blend of maple syrup’s comforting warmth and the luscious sweetness of white chocolate, all wrapped up in a convenient, bite-sized package. You won’t believe that something this delectable can also be packed with protein goodness.

The best part about these is that they’re made with clean ingredients and create a gluten free, low sugar treat!

Ingredients for Maple White Chocolate Protein Balls

These maple white chocolate protein balls have all the fall maple flavor, but are still low sugar; They’re made with sugar-free maple syrup and a low-sugar maple toaster pastry flavor Cashew Butter too!

  • Plant-Based Vanilla Protein Powder I use the vegan vanilla protein powder from KOS.
  • Whey-Casein Vanilla Protein Powder; Quest Nutrition is the one I recommend.
  • Oat Flour
  • Maple Toaster Pastry flavored Cashew Butter; from American Dream Nut Butter (code HAYLSKITCHEN gives you a discount). It’s lower fat and higher protein than normal, and just amazing .
ADNB has other flavors that would work well here too.
  • Sugar-Free Maple Syrup: I recommend the one from Lakanto (code HAYLSKITCHEN for a discount)
  • Unsweetened Almond Milk

And for the inside:

  • Sugar Free White Chocolate: I use the white chocolate bar from Lily’s here.

How to make Maple Protein Balls:

These maple protein balls are made with protein powder for sweetness, and actually super easy – with no baking needed. Here’s some pointers to get it right.

  1. Mix all dry ingredients first (oat flour, protein powders) so that you get an even mix.
Use whey-casein protein powder and plant-based since it works well with the ratio of ingredients here; Whey absorbs less moisture, so you would have to reduce the amount of milk in this case.
  1. Add cashew butter and maple syrup little at a time;
Add more milk to mix if too dry, more oat flour if too wet; Mixture should be handleable and rollable.
  1. Taste the batter and see if you need some extra sweetener.
Use sugar-free stevia sweetener so the nutrition label remains as is.
  1. Divide mix into 8 portions, and flatten into discs.
  1. Place white chocolate piece inside, roll into ball.

To store No Bake Maple Protein Bites

These maple protein bites are best stored in the fridge since they do have a bit of milk in there.

To store maple white chocolate protein bites, keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or freezer for 2-3 months. Let them thaw on the counter before eating!

Alternate ingredients for Healthy Maple Protein Energy Balls

I made sugar free, gluten free and healthy maple protein energy balls with ingredients above, but here’s some other clean ingredients you can try.

  • Oat flour: Almond flour
  • Maple-flavored Cashew Butter: Regular cashew butter, almond butter or even tahini, but add extra maple syrup (and a little less milk)
  • Almond Milk: Regular milk or other non dairy milk
