A high protein Strawberry Baked Oatmeal for One: Sweetened with protein powder and made creamy with greek yogurt, this strawberry protein baked oats is a healthy breakfast recipe that tastes just like a strawberries and cream dessert!

So I just got this Strawberry Milkshake flavored protein powder from my new ambassadorship for ProteinWorld, and I just had to make a baked oatmeal by first recipe.

I even bought strawberries just for this shot!

So now I just have a ton of oats and strawberries and protein related recipes lined up, but need to space them out to prevent my feed from going all pink!

Ingredients for Strawberry Protein Baked Oats

This protein strawberry baked oatmeal is made with a few healthy ingredients and perfect for a quick single serving baked oats!

  • Instant or Quick Oats; Gluten free if needed.
  • Strawberry or Vanilla Protein Powder as the sweetener, and also makes it a protein strawberry oatmeal recipe.I recommend ProteinWorld Strawberry Milkshake flavor for this recipe to keep it sugar free.; Use the code HAYLSKITCHEN for a discount.
Another option would be Quest Vanilla.
  • Unsweetened Almond Milk: To keep the baked oatmeal dairy free and sugar free, but use regular milk if you wish.
  • Non Fat Greek Yogurt for the cream part of this strawberries and cream baked oats. It also makes an even more high protein recipe .
  • Baking Powder
  • Sliced Strawberries!

Can I bake with 1 minute oats?

Yes, making this oatmeal bake with 1 minute oats or quick oats is what I do – and also recommend. Using instant oats for baked strawberry oatmeal gives you an extra creamy center!

How to make Strawberry Baked Oatmeal for One

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Grease a ramekin or oven-safe dish with coconut oil or cooking spray. You want one that’s about 1 cup or 8 ounces in volume.
  • Process all ingredients except strawberries (oats, Greek Yogurt, strawberry protein powder, milk and baking powder) in a food processor about 30 seconds until blended.
  • Fold in the strawberries, but leave a few for the top.
  • Pour mixture into the ramekin and top with those remaining strawberries.
  • Bake 22-25 minutes. The top of the oats will look wet, but they’re cooked.
You should have something creamy oats top, but completely baked oats all around. Don’t over bake or the bottom and sides will completely dry out.

Alternatives for Strawberries and Cream Oatmeal

For a regular Strawberry Baked Oats

Replace the protein powder with 2 tablespoons worth of your choice of sweetener; To keep this recipe healthy and sugar free, I recommend Lakanto’s 1:1 monkfruit sugar substitute. Code HAYLSKITCHEN gets you a discount here too.

To make Strawberry Baked Oatmeal Vegan

For a vegan strawberry baked oats, make sure you use a plant based protein powder and coconut yogurt.

Alternatively replace the protein powder with the sugar substitute from above.

Strawberry Banana Baked Oatmeal

Replace the yogurt in this recipe with mashed banana – and also reduce some of the protein powder to prevent extra sweetness.

Oatmeal Cups!

Make 2-4x the recipe, and pour the batter into cups of a muffin pan to make strawberry baked oatmeal cups instead!

Can you store Strawberry and Cream Protein Oatmeal?

This high protein single serve baked strawberry oats can be stored just like m a normal one.

Place individual baked oats an airtight container store in the fridge for 3-4 days or freezer for 2-3 months.

To reheat, microwave strawberry oatmeal from the fridge until warmed; Thaw the frozen oats first (use use the defrost setting on the microwave).
You can also reheat freezer friendly oats in a 350°F oven.

I made this yesterday, using vanilla protein powder instead since that’s what I had on hand. Because I like my oats sweet and my protein powder isn’t that sweet, and my yoghurt a bit tangy, I still added a spoonful of sugar free sweetener. Lemme just say this was such a satisfying and delicious breakfast! Will try with the strawberry protein as soon as I get some😋
