Okay the amount of protein content in this breakfast really took my by surprise - a whopping 42g of protein in there. Such a rich and filling breakfast, I was surprised!

Using protein powder instead of regular sugar in this chocolate rice cake oats recipe really was a good call. All the gains and nutrition here.

Ingredients for Rice Cake Overnight Oats

This high protein rice cake overnight uses rice cakes instead of oatmeal and is sweetened with protein powder for a healthy breakfast option.

  • Rice Cakes; Whole grain brown rice recommended.

  • Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • Non-fat Plain Greek Yogurt

For the Vanilla Topping:

  • Non-fat Plain Greek Yogurt
  • Vanilla Protein Powder: I used Quest Nutrition Vanilla whey-casein here.

      Hi Emma!

Instagram actually disabled my account saying I violated some community guidelines :'( I filed an appeal with a big reasoning of why they were mistaken, and am just waiting on hearing from them now.

Fingers crossed it all goes well and I'm back on IG soon.

Thanks so much for reaching out here. It really does mean a lot <3
