Okay to be honest, I know there's a lot of chocolate pb oat recipes out there, but someone on Instagram who regularly makes my recipes requested a chocolate pb oat recipe. I won't say no to someone who would actually try my recipes so here we are!
And if you love that classic peanut butter chocolate oatmeal bake flavor but don't want the flavor from banana, this is your new obsession.
Ingredients for High Protein Chocolate Peanut Butter Baked Oats
- Rolled Oats: I recommend protein oats from Zego.
- Chocolate Protein Powder: Adds a massive protein boost and deep chocolate flavor.
I recommend a Whey like Peachie Spoon or American Dream (code HAYLSKITCHEN saves you 10% here) - Rice Crispies Cereal: The secret ingredient for volume without adding much calories.
- Unsweetened Cocoa Powder: For the rich chocolate flavor.
- Peanut Butter Powder: Delivers authentic peanut butter flavor with minimal fat.
I use PB2 or PbFit - Flaxseed Meal: Adds healthy fiber and nutrients, and avoids the egg.
- Stevia Sweetener: Provides sweetness without the sugar.
- Unsweetened Almond Milk: The liquid base for blending.
- Peanut Butter: Used for a gooey, molten center.

Alternatives for No egg peanut butter chocolate oatmeal bake
Here's some options to make it your own.
- Rolled Oats: Instant Oats or even Gluten free oats
- Almond Milk: Any other milk
- Flaxseeds: Ground chia seeds

For a vegan chocolate pb baked oatmeal, make sure you use a plant based protein powder like KOS.
How to Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Baked Oatmeal
This recipe is quick, easy, and yields a satisfying single-serving dessert-for-breakfast.
- Prep: Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a ramekin or oven-safe dish.
- Blend Base: In a blender, combine the oats, cereal, protein powder, cocoa powder, peanut butter powder, flaxseed meal, sweetener. Blend until completely smooth (about 30 seconds).


- Add in milk and blend until smooth.
Or Transfer to a bowl, add in milk and mix until combined.


- Assemble: Pour about two-thirds of the mixture into the prepared ramekin. Add the peanut butter right into the center, then cover it completely with the remaining mixture.


- Bake: Bake for about 18-20 minutes. The top should look set, but the center should still be soft and gooey.
- Serve: Enjoy immediately! This high protein chocolate peanut butter baked oats is best served warm.
Equipment
10/10 recommend using a powerful blender for the batter. This one is not only powerful, but also quite aesthetic, haha.
Tips & Storage
- Don't Overbake: For that moist, molten center, remove the chocolate peanut butter baked oats, protein from the oven as soon as the edges are set. Overbaking results in a dry cake.
- Storage: This recipe is best enjoyed immediately. If you have leftovers, cover the dish and refrigerate for up to 2 days. Reheat briefly in the microwave.

- ⅓ cup Chocolate Protein Powder, 30g
- ¼ cup Rice Krispies Cereal, 7g
- 1 tablespoon Unsweetened Cocoa Powder, 5g
- 1 tablespoon Peanut Butter Powder
- ½ tablespoon Flaxseed Meal
- ⅛ teaspoon Stevia Sweetener
- ½ cup Unsweetened Almond Milk, 120ml
- ½ tablespoon Peanut Butter, 7g

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a ramekin or oven-safe dish (cooking spray or oil)
